HQ Planning Information Morning
Our headquarters is a long-standing community facility serving local young people and community groups. Weekly Scout use comprises four sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers), with approximately 120 young people across these sections.
The building is also hired by local community groups for cultural, youth, and family activities — a use that is well-established and accepted in planning terms.
To improve the experience of the young people, we would like to extend the rear of the HQ to add breakout rooms for small group instruction, quiet areas and additional storage space. We do not intend on increasing the HQ usage.
Prior to formal planning being submitted, we would like to invite you to view and discuss our plans on Sunday 22nd March, at our Tadworth Avenue HQ between 10:00 & 12:00.
